Brambridge is a premier wild trout and grayling fishery located between Otterbourne and Colden Common, on the lower Itchen Navigation. The fishery offers 1,522 meters of double bank fishing and spans 8.93 acres of land. The fishing is accessible from the west bank and features varied and interesting fishing with fast water, gravel spawning grounds, and open banks. The fishery is currently let to the Portsmouth Services Fly Fishing Association on an annual agreement, with the owners retaining 1 rod at all times. The fishery has benefitted from river restoration projects, including improvements to salmon spawning and the creation of brushwood berms for cover. The land is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is managed to protect the wild bankside vegetation.
