Allt Tanerdy is a mixed broadleaf woodland located in the valley of the Afon Dulais, a tributary of the Towy. The woodland is reasonably steep in places and has a closed canopy, making it ideal for walking without much undergrowth. The property can be accessed on foot from the layby alongside the A482 or from the minor road along part of the southern boundary. The eastern and first half of the southern boundary are the public highway, while the remainder of the southern boundary is the stream. The northern boundary is fenced from adjoining woodland, and the remainder of the northwestern boundary is the edge of the woodland marked with the remnants of a fence. The sporting rights and mineral rights are included, except for any excluded by statute. There are no public footpaths or public access of any kind within the woodland. The nearby village of Llanwrda has a convenience store, while Llangadog and Llandovery have shops and pubs within three miles. The River Towy offers good opportunities for fly fishing for sewin (sea trout). Photographs of the property were taken in November 2021 and May 2023.
