A building plot of approximately 0.7 acres in the conservation village of Birnam, with planning consent for residential development. The proposed design, by an award-winning architecture practice, incorporates low energy use, passive solar gain, and sustainable local materials, blending sensitively into the existing landscape. The dwelling is designed to be multi-generational and has been carefully considered to minimize impact on the surrounding Conservation Area and existing trees. The plot includes three small derelict holiday chalets, which will be removed to make way for the new dwelling.
