A substantial site in mid-Cornwall, located on the outskirts of St Austell, is being offered for sale in our February 2025 auction. The site, previously used as an infant school, features a fire-damaged building and significant hardstanding area. While the building is in need of renovation, pre-application advice from Cornwall Council suggests that the site could be redeveloped into residential flats, with the remaining facade retained. The proposal includes eight open market flats and four affordable flats, with allocated parking and visitor spaces. The site is subject to a covenant requiring the retention of the building facade, and viewing is only possible externally due to the condition of the buildings.
