Curl Wood is a light and spacious woodland located four miles from Tunbridge Wells, with dominant Scots pine and birch trees, along with other species such as spruce, larch, hornbeam, chestnut, and oak. The wood has numerous wide clearings, making it an ideal setting for family camping and woodland activities. There are two entrances to the wood, one through a double wooden gate and the other through a single metal gate, both of which provide vehicle access. The wood is securely fenced on all sides, and planning permission is in place to renew the full original roadside wire fence with a grid wire.
