Description

The Filter House is a historic building constructed in 1926 to cleanse water supplied to the market town of Penrith. It is a large stone building with oversized windows and doors, located in the Hayeswater Valley amidst spectacular scenery. The property has a private water supply from a borehole, a new filtered water system, and a septic tank with soak-away system.

It is currently on single-phase electricity, but has the capacity to be switched to three-phase. The building has an open-plan design with a central kitchen area, a rear extension with a WC and shower room, and a green fibreglass shed that was formerly a pump room.
