Description
Clinton Wood is a woodland situated in rural mid Devon, near the base of a small valley that rises from the Little Dart River. The woodland is set on gently sloping land, falling from around 90 metres to 75 metres above sea level, and is accessed via a shared access track from a country lane near the village of Chawleigh. The woodland has a mix of tree species, including mature Douglas fir, hazel, beech, and broadleaved trees, with some excellent timber trees suitable for forestry projects.
The site also includes a private parking area and a ride stop, as well as a stone track that leads to the woodland entrance.
