Tillycairn Wood is a 5-acre woodland set within the forest at Millbank, near Aberdeen. It is comprised of two distinct areas: the lower section, part of Minister's Moss, features a mix of birch, rowan, and alder trees, with damp areas, pools, and diverse sphagnum mosses creating a rich ecosystem; the higher section is dry and homes to some fine mature pines. A modest burn runs through the wood and a small stream trickles through, enhancing the diversity and drawing in small mammals and birdlife.

The wood has plenty of scope for small-scale harvesting of timber and is suitable for siting a woodland shelter and fire pit. Access is exceptionally good, with substantial tracks and excellent stone forming a maintenance-free path.
