The beach huts are individually sized at 2.4m x 2.9m and have a 2.960m apex height, 1.9m eaves, and a 33° pitch. They are constructed with a pressure-treated softwood tongue and groove floor, 18mm external grade plywood roofing, 34mm x 45mm treated softwood framing, and 25mm x 200mm treated shiplap cladding. The huts feature a 700mm x 2400mm decked verandah with balustrade to the side and purpose-made framed ledged and braced timber double doors.
The timber is pressure-treated, and the cut ends are treated prior to construction. Each hut also includes three mortice locks, two shoot bolts, heavy-duty hinges, a galvanised security bar, and a galvanised bracket.
