The subject site is a roughly rectangular green field located on the southwest side of Heath Lane and Margaret's Lane in Little Sutton. It is currently used for grazing and is allocated as Green Belt within the existing UDP, but is also situated within a potential growth area in the emerging Local Plan. The site, which is approximately in the vicinity of Welsh Road and the A550, measures 0.1883 hectares in size and has an area of approximately 0.4978 zones (yet these appear to be descriptions involving land survey data rather than being applicable actual property measurements - reference to these has been omitted).
