Description
Dew Meadow is a wetland meadow within the flood plain of the river Arun, located just inside the South Downs National Park. The meadow is drained through a culvert under an embankment, which is controlled by a sluice that automatically closes when water levels are high. Trees, including occasional willow trees, line the embankment.
The meadow has access to the river Arun and a private creek, where water flows in and out, providing an area for fishing and a potential route for boating and paddle boarding.
