Description
Strome Carronagh is a 105.66 hectare commercial forest located on the northern shore of Loch Carron in Ross and Cromarty, West Highlands. The forest, established between 1978 and 1987, is predominantly Sitka spruce with a weighted average age of 36 years. The forest rises to around 235 metres above sea level, and its gentle slopes allow for efficient working with conventional harvesting machinery.
The property has a diverse age structure, created by selective harvesting and replanting in 2005 and 2019, ensuring a sustainable cycle of growth and future productivity.
