Description
Velaire, a Powles 46 cruiser houseboat, is a spacious and comfortable floating home located on a secure residential mooring. Although in need of some internal updating, the boat can still be lived on comfortably while the work is being done. The interior features a good-sized aft cabin, a large saloon, well-equipped galley, wet room, and second double cabin, with plenty of natural light and headroom.
The boat is mechanically sound, with two Cummins diesel engines offering plenty of power, although they will require servicing and maintenance. The exterior has a good amount of deck space, currently with astro turf, and the boat is moored in a popular village location with easy access to local amenities, public transport, and the river Medway. With a relatively small amount of work, Velaire has the potential to be an amazing floating home, offering a genuine affordable option for those looking for a unique living space.
