Description
The property is a Grade II listed farmhouse, believed to date back to the 17th Century with later additions in the 19th Century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and brick, with a timber-frame and Welsh slate and pantile roofs. The rectangular plan is aligned roughly north/south, with two storeys and attics.
The east elevation features two windows with early C19 glazing bar casements, and a late C19 gabled canopy over a central 5-panel door. The property has a timber-framed part with a ledged door, and a brick tallet staircase rising from the left to a roughly central ledged door of the upper storey. A catslide lean-to extension is located to the rear.
The interior of the south part has not been inspected, but the north part features early to mid-C19 trusses with central posts rising from collars. The property offers extremely spacious accommodation with many character features, and the attached three-story barn could provide lovely characterful annexed accommodation suitable for use as a holiday let or studio.
