Description
Tritlington is a secluded, affordable young broadleaf plantation located at the southwest corner of a larger broadleaf plantation, surrounded by rolling farmland. The woodland is situated on level ground with wide views over the surrounding countryside, and is about 20-45 minutes by car from nearby towns such as Rothbury, Morpeth, and Newcastle. The plantation is planted with native British tree species including oak, silver birch, alder, ash, and rowan, as well as shrubs like holly, guelder rose, hawthorn, hazel, and blackthorn.
The area is served by an established hard track.
